Chemnitz-Zwickau Student Union
Studying is a phase of life in which, in addition to professional training, important personal changes also take place. In addition, pressure to perform, competition and unclear requirements in studies can be a burden, so that even doubts about studying arise.
The counseling services of the Studentenwerk Chemnitz-Zwickau are there for all these cases and can be used free of charge, confidentially and unbureaucratically. The advisors provide support with questions and problems relating to studies, finances and social issues and offer clarification and orientation assistance for difficult study or life situations. The resource-oriented offer is primarily designed as „help for self-help“. It can be taken up in German and English language.

Chamber of Notaries Saxony
The Chamber of Notaries of Saxony advises university dropouts on training as notary clerks. Work in the notary’s office is as varied and colorful as life itself. Notaries handle cases that come from the everyday life. You need a flair for dealing with people and an open ear for questions.
Whether it is a will, the formation of a company or the purchase of a house – the profession is never boring. In contrast to lawyers, notaries are neutral public officials. They provide legal advice to the parties involved and prepare and implement deeds. Notary clerks help with this. They process documents independently and are in constant contact with clients, authorities and courts.

Green professions
Dropouts have the opportunity to learn a so-called green profession. Today, modern agricultural companies take on additional services, ecological and balancing functions for our society, nature and the environment. They also make a significant contribution to economic development as contractors and employers in rural areas.
