Dropouts – skilled workers at the second attempt
The Chemnitz Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) provides support and information when deciding to obtain a practice-oriented recognized vocational qualification in a future-oriented occupational field after dropping out of university.
A wide range of professions is available.
The IHK offers help in the selection process with the IHK Apprenticeship Exchange. Students who are not sure about their studies and dropouts can find apprenticeship offers, the desired requirements of the companies and information about the profession. The vocational training advisors of the will be happy to provide information on possible dual professions, the duration of training and everything worth knowing about dual vocational training. Even after the contact has been made and the training has started successfully, the IHK supports the trainees throughout their training period. After only a short time, they are faced with the step into the middle of their professional lives and see the new path to professional success ahead of them.

Chamber of Notaries Saxony
The Chamber of Notaries of Saxony advises university dropouts on training as notary clerks. Work in the notary’s office is as varied and colorful as life itself. Notaries handle cases that come from the middle of life. You need a flair for dealing with people and an open ear for questions.
Whether it is a will, the formation of a company or the purchase of a house – the profession is never boring. In contrast to lawyers, notaries are neutral public officials. They provide legal advice to the parties involved and prepare and implement deeds. Notary clerks help with this. They process documents independently and are in constant contact with clients, authorities and courts.

Green professions
Dropouts have the opportunity to learn a so-called green profession. Today, modern farms additionally take on service, ecological and balancing functions for our society, nature and the environment. They also make a significant contribution to economic development as contractors and employers in rural areas.
